v1.10.0
September 24, 2026
Overview
The A400 Home screen now shows an alert whenever something needs attention: a lost connection, sets waiting to be sent, a software update that's ready or failed, or a machine error. Machine errors now appear on any screen, Go Mode can ask for rep mode and added mass before a set, cloud-connected machines get a REGISTER button, and the display checks for updates every hour. Backend Mode is now called Connection Mode.
New
- Alerts on the Home screen — An alert area at the top of the Home screen shows what needs attention: connection loss, sets waiting to be sent, available or failed software updates, and machine errors. Tap it to see every active alert and retry a connection problem with one tap.
- Machine errors shown on any screen — An error that stops the machine from being used now appears on whatever screen is showing, not just the live workout screen. Starting a set or a rep test is blocked until the error clears, and the display then returns to where it was.
- Go Mode setup before a set — Machines that need it now ask for rep mode and added mass before a Go Mode workout starts, so a GO set can be set up without signing in.
- Added mass in your own units — Added mass choices now follow the display's unit setting: pound plates for imperial, kilogram plates for metric, and round Newton steps for SI. The custom value is capped at the machine's own maximum instead of a fixed range.
- REGISTER button for cloud machines — A cloud-connected machine that hasn't been claimed yet shows a REGISTER button at the top of the screen, so it can be claimed any time without going back through setup. QR code claiming is now on for every cloud-connected display.
- Hourly update checks — The display checks for new software once an hour and raises an alert when an update is ready to install. Checks are staggered across machines, so a whole facility doesn't check at once.
Improved
- Backend Mode is now Connection Mode — The setting is renamed Connection Mode and moved next to Display Settings, so it no longer needs developer mode to reach. The offline option is now labeled "Offline (A400 Hub)".
- Removed machines return to REGISTER — A display removed from a facility now signs out and shows REGISTER, instead of staying on screen with access that no longer works.
- Sign-in message names the right connection — When a machine isn't authorized, the sign-in screen now says whether it's connected to Keiser Cloud or to the Hub.
Fixed
- Correct battery in low battery instructions — The low battery instructions now name the correct coin cell, CR 2032.
- No longer stuck on a GO set that failed to start — If a GO set fails to start again, the "Unable to Start Set" dialog comes back, and the finish button now ends the failed set instead of doing nothing.
- Screensaver returns to the Home screen — When the screensaver came on over the Go Mode setup prompt, it could come back to the wrong screen. It now returns to Home.
- Update alerts stay accurate — A brief connection drop during an hourly check no longer leaves a permanent update-failed alert, and a failed download or install is no longer hidden behind a new "update available" notice, so you can still retry.
- No unexpected return to registration — A routine expiry of the display's access to Keiser Cloud was mistaken for the machine being removed from the facility, dropping it back to REGISTER. That no longer happens.
